A landlord’s software search can mix two different needs: running tenancies and administering the business that owns the property. Separate those requirements before comparing providers.

Understand the service descriptions

GetGround describes accounting, tax and company-management services for property investors. Its published accounting material refers to support from a UK accountant familiar with property special-purpose vehicles. Landlord Vision describes rent tracking, document management and financial reporting for landlords. Check the exact service scope rather than treating these descriptions as identical packages.

Allocate each responsibility

List the tasks you need performed, the information you must supply and who checks the result. Distinguish a software-generated report from an accountant reviewing or filing accounts. Ask whether a quoted service covers your ownership structure and circumstances.

Look for duplication and gaps

If you already use an accountant or letting agent, compare the proposed service with their work. Identify which records would be entered twice and how inconsistent figures would be reconciled. A joined-up process matters more than having every function in one dashboard.

Confirm the agreement

Obtain written details of fees, support, filing responsibilities, cancellation and data export. Choosing a software provider does not decide whether buying through a company is appropriate; that separate decision needs advice suited to your tax and financial circumstances.
