Checked on 15 October 2026 against the government update published on 10 October.

The application window has closed

New applications for the England funding route covering buildings under 11 metres closed on 9 October 2026. They can no longer be submitted through the Building Remediation Hub.

This is an update to an existing programme, not an announcement that a new application round has opened.

What happens to existing applications?

Applications received before the deadline will be considered against the published eligibility requirements and prioritised according to risk. Applicants with questions about a submission should contact Homes England.

The funding was delivered through the Cladding Safety Scheme to address serious cladding fire-safety risks in eligible buildings.

Keep funding and safety separate

The closure concerns this funding application window. It should not be read as confirmation that an individual building is safe, or that an application has been approved. Owners and residents should use the official guidance and obtain building-specific professional advice where needed.
