Propoly, LegalforLandlords and Landlord Lounge have joined a shared structure called Rental Intelligence Group, according to Property Industry Eye’s report published on 2 November 2026.
The three brands cover different parts of the lettings process. Propoly provides tenancy operations technology, LegalforLandlords offers referencing and related specialist services, and Landlord Lounge focuses on landlord support. The businesses will retain their individual brands under the new group.
The stated ambition is to connect those services more closely and reduce repetitive administration. Further use of artificial intelligence and automation is part of the plan. However, the announcement does not establish that a fully integrated platform is already available. It also provides no confirmed timetable for specific new AI products or independently demonstrated savings.
What agents should ask to see
For a letting agency considering the proposition, the practical starting point is a demonstration of the workflow available today. Ask which information moves between services, which steps still require manual entry and how an unfinished task is brought to a colleague’s attention. This makes it easier to compare the current service with future plans.
A useful demonstration can follow a realistic example from initial enquiry through to the agency’s next action. Ask what happens when information is missing, a document needs correcting or a case cannot proceed. Understanding exceptions is just as useful as seeing an uncomplicated example completed successfully.
Keep responsibilities visible
Agents can also ask who checks information, who handles support enquiries and how users can review the record of actions on a case. Where technology supports an important decision, the team should understand the role of the person reviewing the result rather than assuming automation removes the need for judgement.
Compare written service descriptions, charges and support arrangements before deciding whether to change systems. If integration is planned for a later stage, request clarity on what is included now and how customers will be told about changes.
A group launch with development ahead
The announcement establishes a common structure and direction for the businesses. For readers, it is useful to distinguish that corporate step from a finished product launch. The potential benefit is a more connected process, but agencies should assess the service actually available against their own requirements and avoid treating projected efficiencies as an achieved result.
